Joshua 1

O si ṣe lẹhin ikú Mose iranṣẹ OLUWA, li OLUWA sọ fun Joṣua ọmọ Nuni, iranṣẹ Mose, wipe,

Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,

Mose iranṣẹ mi kú; njẹ iwọ, dide, gòke Jordani yi, iwọ, ati gbogbo enia yi, si ilẹ ti mo fi fun wọn, ani fun awọn ọmọ Israeli.

Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

Ibi gbogbo ti atẹlẹsẹ̀ nyin ba tẹ̀, ẹnyin ni mo fi fun, gẹgẹ bi mo ti sọ fun Mose.

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

Lati aginjù, ati Lebanoni yi, ani titi dé odò nla nì, odò Euferate, gbogbo ilẹ awọn Hitti, ati titi dé okun nla ni ìwọ-õrùn, eyi ni yio ṣe opin ilẹ nyin.

From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

Ki yio sí ọkunrin kan ti yio le duro niwaju rẹ li ọjọ́ aiye rẹ gbogbo: gẹgẹ bi mo ti wà pẹlu Mose, bẹ̃li emi o si wà pẹlu rẹ: Emi ki yio fi ọ silẹ, bẹ̃li emi ki yio kọ̀ ọ.

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Ṣe giri, ki o si mu àiya le: nitori iwọ ni yio pín ilẹ na fun awọn enia yi, ilẹ ti mo ti bura fun awọn baba wọn lati fi fun wọn.

Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Sá ṣe giri ki o si mu àiya le gidigidi, ki iwọ ki o le kiyesi ati ṣe gẹgẹ bi gbogbo ofin ti Mose iranṣẹ mi ti palaṣẹ fun ọ: má ṣe yà kuro ninu rẹ̀ si ọtún tabi si òsi, ki o le dara fun ọ nibikibi ti iwọ ba lọ.

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

Iwé ofin yi kò gbọdọ kuro li ẹnu rẹ, ṣugbọn iwọ o ma ṣe àṣaro ninu rẹ̀ li ọsán ati li oru, ki iwọ ki o le kiyesi ati ṣe gẹgẹ bi gbogbo eyiti a kọ sinu rẹ̀: nitori nigbana ni iwọ o ṣe ọ̀na rẹ ni rere, nigbana ni yio si dara fun ọ.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Emi kò ha paṣẹ fun ọ bi? Ṣe giri ki o si mu àiya le; máṣe bẹ̀ru, bẹ̃ni ki àiya ki o máṣe fò ọ: nitoripe OLUWA Ọlọrun rẹ wà pẹlu rẹ nibikibi ti iwọ ba nlọ.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Nigbana ni Joṣua paṣẹ fun awọn olori awọn enia wipe,

Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

Ẹ là ãrin ibudó já, ki ẹ si paṣẹ fun awọn enia, wipe, Ẹ pèse onjẹ; nitoripe ni ijọ́ mẹta oni ẹnyin o gòke Jordani yi, lati lọ gbà ilẹ ti OLUWA Ọlọrun nyin fi fun nyin lati ní.

Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.

Ati fun awọn ọmọ Reubeni, ati fun awọn ọmọ Gadi, ati fun àbọ ẹ̀ya Manasse, ni Joṣua wipe,

And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,

Ranti ọ̀rọ ti Mose iranṣẹ OLUWA palaṣẹ fun nyin pe, OLUWA Ọlọrun nyin nfun nyin ni isimi, on o si fun nyin ni ilẹ yi.

Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.

Awọn obinrin nyin, ati awọn ọmọ wẹrẹ nyin, ati ohunọ̀sin nyin, yio joko ni ilẹ ti Mose fi fun nyin ni ìha ihin Jordani; ṣugbọn ẹnyin o gòke lọ niwaju awọn arakunrin nyin ni ihamọra, gbogbo awọn alagbara akọni, ẹnyin o si ràn wọn lọwọ,

Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;

Titi OLUWA yio fi fun awọn arakunrin nyin ni isimi, gẹgẹ bi o ti fi fun nyin, ati ti awọn pẹlu yio fi gbà ilẹ na ti OLUWA Ọlọrun nyin fi fun wọn: nigbana li ẹnyin o pada si ilẹ iní nyin, ti Mose iranṣẹ OLUWA fi fun nyin ni ìha ihin Jordani ni ìha ìla-õrùn, ẹnyin o si ní i.

Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.

Nwọn si da Joṣua lohùn, wipe, Gbogbo ohun ti iwọ palaṣẹ fun wa li awa o ṣe, ibikibi ti iwọ ba rán wa lọ, li awa o lọ.

And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.

Gẹgẹ bi awa ti gbọ́ ti Mose li ohun gbogbo, bẹ̃li awa o gbọ́ tirẹ: kìki ki OLUWA Ọlọrun rẹ ki o wà pẹlu rẹ, gẹgẹ bi o ti wà pẹlu Mose.

According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.

Ẹnikẹni ti o wù ki o ṣe ti o ba tapá si ofin rẹ, ti ki yio si gbọ́ ọ̀rọ rẹ li ohun gbogbo ti iwọ palaṣẹ fun u, pipa li a o pa a: kìki ki iwọ ṣe giri ki o si mu àiya le.

Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.
